What we are concerned with
Customer Day: Planning for 2027
In recent years, our annual Customer Day has been an integral part of our dialogue with our customers. For 2026, we have decided to postpone this major event and redesign the format for 2027.
Going forward, we want to focus the Customer Day even more on providing substantive value and ensuring high relevance for our attendees. A longer interval between events - especially given the current economic climate - gives us the opportunity to bundle developments, new services, and ideas in a more targeted way, for example through best practices from customer projects, insights into new solution approaches, and current market and technology trends.
Josef Faigle, Managing Director of Quality Analysis
Quality is no accident
The demands on quality assurance and analytics are growing. At the same time, traditional, isolated testing methods are increasingly reaching their limits. In a recent interview with Wirtschaftsforum, our Managing Director Josef Faigle explains why one thing matters above all else today: interdisciplinary analytics and networked thinking.
The shift: Standard tasks are on the decline – what’s needed today is a combination of different methods to holistically understand and solve complex problems.
A ski helmet is designed to protect. But what if, after a violent fall, it appears undamaged on the outside but has already failed on the inside?
This was precisely the question that arose after an accident on the slopes. At first glance, a colleague’s helmet appeared intact. No visible cracks, no obvious damage. And yet, an uneasy feeling remained.
The subsequent examination using our 3D computed tomography (CT) provided clarity ...
Glovebox: Meaningful results for quality testing and post-mortem analysis
With our latest investment, a special solution for theglovebox from GS Glovebox Systemtechnik, we are specifically expanding the possibilities in battery cell analysis. The Mega-Line inert gas system has an additional 1.20 m long vacuum lock, for example for long battery rods, and four gloves for comfortable and safe working.
The system enables us to open battery cells – for example, from e-mobility – under a controlled protective atmosphere, safely separate individual components such as the anode, cathode, separator, or electrolyte, and take samples without risk. This prevents unwanted reactions with oxygen or moisture.
Our eight employees celebrating their 10- and 15-year anniversaries have an impressive 95 years of service between them – and that's in just 18 years of Quality Analysis' history.
During a small celebration, company founder and CEO Josef Faigle thanked everyone with personal words for their long-standing loyalty, extraordinary commitment, and valuable contribution to the success of the accredited testing laboratory.
This long-standing loyalty demonstrates what defines us as a company: reliability, solidarity, and people who lead with passion and take responsibility.
Award-winning master's thesis at HfWU!
Our employee Selina Forschner was honored at the graduation ceremony of the Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences (HfWU) for her outstanding master's thesis in the International Management (MBA) degree program. We congratulate Ms. Forschner on this great success!
Her thesis on "Aftersales – An investigation of the potential for success using the example of Quality Analysis GmbH" was written as part of her work as a student trainee at Quality Analysis and was developed into a master's thesis with great dedication. In doing so, she impressively demonstrated how scientific theory and practical application can be optimally combined. The thesis was supervised by our sales colleagues Sascha Raschinsky and Sascha Falter – we would also like to express our sincere thanks to them for their commitment.
We are delighted that Ms. Forschner is now contributing her knowledge and fresh ideas to our team. Her focus is on the strategic development of the aftersales division, including process optimization, increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty, and conducting market and competition analyses.
Young professionals from the Grohmann Group as our guests
Eight motivated young professionals from the Grohmann Group, accompanied by Managing Director Michael Parisi and Commercial Manager Annika Klein from MGH GussTec GmbH & Co KG, recently paid us a visit. The guests were given an exciting look behind the scenes of our service center.
After a presentation of our company by Mr. Faigle and our Senior Project Manager Sascha Raschinsky, we went straight into practice: We presented the enormous variety of analysis methods in materialography and chemical analysis. Our division manager Birgit Lanitz used illustrative examples from the casting industry to show the young professionals how our work is applied in their professional field. In particular, the structural analysis of a cylinder head and the detective search for the causes of damage in the event of material failure provided some aha moments - true to the motto: from small cracks to big findings.
During a subsequent tour of our service center, the visitors were able to look over the shoulders of our experts at work – for example during sample preparation, examination on the FIB-SEM or hardness testing. After lunch, there was still time for questions and a lively exchange. For us, it was a great opportunity to share ideas, pick up new impulses and perhaps even lay the foundations for future collaborations.
Our Customer Day will not take place in 2026. This longer interval will allow us to focus more effectively on developments, new services, and fresh ideas. But even without a Customer Day, we will remain in close contact with you - through personal conversations, individual appointments, and targeted events for professional dialogue. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2027.
