We recently invested in the latest generation of industrial computed tomography for you. One of the two C450 Metrology Edition systems available worldwide is on our premises. It combines:
- the highest level of detail recognition on large-volume components
- an extremely high scanning speed for more throughput and
- fully automatic calibration for even more precise data
The Phoenix V|tome|x C450 is a compact 450 kV Minifocus system developed especially for non-destructive inspection and quality assurance. It permits detail detection from as little as 87 µm – and that with the fewest possible scatter artefacts. Samples up to a a height of 1,000 mm and a diameter of 500 mm and can be scanned. As a result, even large light metal castings such as cylinder heads, battery cells and modules such as pouch cells, large plastic components, additively manufactured components and composite materials can be inspected.
The Metrology Edition of the V|tome|x ensures highly precise measurements of internal surfaces and structures for your quality assurance, for nominal-actual comparisons, dimensional measurements and for reverse engineering. The V|tome|x is therefore particularly suitable for sectors that require the highest precision, for instance the aerospace industry, medical technology, the automotive industry and precision mechanics.
